- [description of problems with LhA deleted]
-
- 1. Go into the shell/cli.
- 2. Type 'LHA_e138.run' (without the quotes) and hit return.
- 3. This will unpack the archive. Because that's what it is. A self
- extracting archive containing the lha program.
- 4. now check and you'll see a program called LhA that has magically
- appeared.
- 5. Typing 'LHA a somefile.lha #?.info' (again without the quotes) will
- grab all files ending in .info in the current directory and put them
- in the somefile.lha archive.
- 6. Typing 'LHA e somefile.lha (again without the quotes) will extract all
- files ending from the somefile.lha archive .
-
- Simple isn't it? Now type 'LhA ?' (no quotes, remember) and hit return.
- This'll show you how to use the program. Want to save all that into a
- file? No problem. 'LhA ? >LhA.options' (need I say no qoutes?) and then
- hitting return will do just that.
-
- Problem solved I hope?
